This course is designed for beginner level practitioners, including physicians (MDs, DOs), international healthcare professionals, nurses (NPs, RNs), physician assistants (PAs, PA-Cs), and dentists (DDS).
*License number is required. If participants are from out of state or from a foreign country, they won’t be able to engage in any hands-on activities but will be able to watch and learn from the experience.
Objectives
Overview of Neurotoxins (mechanism of action, dosing, precautions, adverse events and contraindications, current FDA approved types) and Dermal Fillers (types and their mechanism of action, rheology or composition, appropriate use of each type, contraindications and adverse events, precautions, and comparisons between products)
Patient consultations include:
• In depth anatomy review
• Physiologic and pathophysiologic evaluation
• Facial assessment
• A detailed understanding of facial aging
Sample forms and patient paperwork include:
• Botox and Dermal Fillers consent and post care forms
• Botox and Dermal Fillers treatment chart
• Botox and Dermal Fillers contraindications and adverse events consultation form
• Sample set up of the room and supply list will be provided
